Jack C. Warner Obituary
Warner, Jack C.
81, passed away on 12/20/2015 in Phoenix, AZ (a resident of 60 years). Jack was born in Los Angeles, California and was a retired attorney of his law firm, Warner, Alvarez & Gilbert. He was the California State debate team champion his senior year in high school and was awarded a summer internship at Northwestern University for this accomplishment. Jack obtained his Bachelor's degree in Political Science in three years. The first two years he attended the University of Southern California and then transferred to the University of Arizona to finish his last year after marrying his wife, Fran. He then obtained his law degree from U of A three years later. Jack was longtime member of the Phoenix-Camelback Rotary Club (past President, led a month-long Business Exchange Program in England, Paul Harris Fellow, and also gave Paul Harris Fellowships to his wife and 5 children) and the American Board of Trial Advocates (past President), as well as a former Judge Pro Tem. In addition to the love he had for his family, Jack's passions were flying (he was an accomplished pilot), hunting, fishing, sailing (he even built a sailboat when he was a kid), traveling, and his home in Lake Tahoe… and, believe it or not, he could play a mean harmonica! He is survived by wife, Fran; children: Russ (wife, Carol), Bill, Perry (wife, Jennifer), Kelly and Julie; Grandchildren: Lindsay, Lissa, Ben, Eric, Andrew, Daniel, Michael, David, John, Alex and Collin; Great Grandson, Benjamin; Nancy and Mary; Sister: Lynn Warner; and, Brothers: James Warner and Chris Warner. Jack was greatly loved by his family and will be forever missed. Special thanks to his care providers. Rather than a funeral, Jack's wish was to have a celebration of his life (a "party") which will be held Sat., 1/23/2016 @ 1pm. There will surely be an abundance of "Jack" stories! Please contact Julie at warnerprivate@cox.net or (602) 769-0909 for details. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to , 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014-5656, or https://www.hov.org/donate.
