Jerald Dean Foster Obituary
Foster, Jerald Dean
January 23, 1925- June 13, 2016. Jerry was a loving husband, devoted Father, wonderful Papa, and faithful Friend. Jerry was a Retired Pilot with a ranking of LT. COL. in the Air force. The last 35 years Jerry and his wife Sue (Deceased) lived in the valley to be close to their family. They were active, caring parents and grandparents. Jerry was a State Champion singles tennis player and also enjoyed playing doubles with his wife Sue. They could also be found on the golf course with grandson Joe. Jerry took pride in teaching Joe golf on their local course in Ahwatukee. Jerry was a proud American, competitive athlete, and fascinating story teller. He loved to talk about the good ole days to family and friends. He was a true American hero with tours in World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War during his prestigious military career. Jerry and Sue traveled and lived all over the world during his life long service to his country. He will be greatly missed by us but we know he is happy to be reunited with his wife of 65 years Sue, daughter Susan, and grand-daughter Katy. His stories and quick wit will remain in our hearts. We were blessed to have him in our lives. Service with military honors will be held Friday, June 24th at 10:00 AM. Grave side only. Green Acres Mortuary-Cemetery 401 N. Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
