John C. "Clay" McMullan Obituary
McMullan, John C. (Clay)
January 1943 - August 2016. Once upon a time, there was a girl and a boy that passed through Clarendon Grade School and West High School, never to see each other again, through the time and directions that life leads you. In our fiftieth high school reunion year, she received a visit and the rest is history. Susan Chambers and Clay McMullan married in January, 2013, on his 70th birthday with all of the family in attendance. It was beautiful, glorious, great fun and a heck of a birthday for Clay. He told me that no one would love me as he did! And he proved it! Clay was the most brilliant man I have ever known. He began his businesses, McMullan, Assoc. Inc. and PYC. International Inc. in 1977 and became highly respected and highly successful. Clay is survived by his wife, Susan Chambers McMullan, his daughter Jennie Capehart, her husband Scott, with granddaughters, Erika, Brooke, Bethany, and grandson Daniel, all of Mesa, Arizona. His son Jay McMullan, wife Kris, with grandsons Greg, Ryan and John all of Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. His step-daughter Wendy Chambers of Jacksonville, Florida and his step-son, Scott Roth, of Culver City, California. All of us will miss him. Enjoy the moments that you have! There are no services planned. Arrangements by Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale, Arizona.
