Biskind, June Camin
86, of Scottsdale passed away peacefully January 16, 2016. Born in 1929 to Anne Whitaker and Theodore Camin, June spent most of her life in Cleveland graduating from Cleveland Heights High and Flora Stone Mather College, with a degree in Education. She was an avid golfer (winning numerous championships), gardener. substitute teacher, and a long-time volunteer for many charitable endeavors including Bellefaire and Mt. Sinai Hospital Women's Auxiliary; at one time serving as its President. June was an ardent dog lover, loved playing bridge with her friends, flower arranging, a great trivia buff and excelled at crossword puzzles. She will be greatly missed and will be remembered fondly by friends and family as a smart, strong, thoughtful and caring individual. June was a devoted and loving wife to her husband John of sixty-seven years, a wonderful mother to her three children, a proud grandmother of four and a loyal friend to many. June is survived by her husband John, sons Ted (Catherine) and Neil (Susie) and daughter Kathy (Craig) Biskind Glazer, grandchildren Andrew and Chloe Biskind, Lauren (Devon) DuBose and Matthew Glazer and brother Lawrence (Linda) Camin.
