Grisinger, Loren "Buck"
90, passed away peacefully June 29, 2016. Buck was born August 7, 1925 in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from East High School in Aurora, IL on June 7, 1944 and moved to Omaha, NE where he married Carolyn Annette Kolacny on August 9, 1947. Buck graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor of Arts on June 6, 1949 and started a 36 year career with Mutual of Omaha as an Advertising Executive that same year. He retired in the spring of 1985 and moved to Tucson, Arizona; in 2004 he moved to Surprise, Arizona and in September 2011 moved to Phoenix. Buck loved to travel with his wife, Carolyn, and they hiked the Grand Canyon multiple times. He enjoyed watching all sporting events and remained an avid NE and AZ sports fan, win or lose. Buck was a devoted husband and loving father. He is survived by his wife Carolyn and his four children; Carol Robbins (Pat), Brant Grisinger (Marian), Susie Knobbe (Tom), Mark Grisinger (Tracy), 6 grandchildren; Nate and Carissa Robbins, Joy Herring, Amber Grisinger, Matt Berg, Megan Grisinger, 6 great-grandchildren; Taylor, Grace and Alex Herring, Cody Grisinger, Orlin and Malie Berg. Contributions may be made to , 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, AZ 85014. Private memorial to be held by the family at a later date.
