Lynda K. Mock Obituary
Mock, Lynda K.
69, of Litchfield Park, passed away on September 18, 2016. Surrounded in a way she was so familiar - with the love of family and friends - Lynda K. Mock (Smith) passed peacefully from this world. She graduated in 1965 from Billings Senior High School and attended the University of Montana and Glendale Community College. In 1967, Lynda married Donald Mock and began a 49-year partnership that included moving to Arizona with nothing more than love and a dream, which resulted in their creation of five children and the building of a successful Arizona accounting business. She was the spark of creation and energy for family gatherings, sometimes working herself to exhaustion but always declaring, "Moms make memories." Lynda had a great sense of humor, a mind of her own (which she wasn't afraid to speak), a flexible spirit, and an open-minded attitude. She found joy in music and dancing, movies, dogs, cooking and entertaining and especially planning the trips she and Don took all over the world. She also had a tremendous capacity for life. "Life's a banquet," she would quote from a movie, "and half the world's starving." She leaves behind her husband, Donald, children Monica (Dion) Garcia, Amy (John), Brian (Jenn), Christopher (Ashley), and Tennille, seven grandchildren, brother Rick (Connie) Smith, sister Gayle (Tom) Sticka, numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
