Mandy Joyce Driscoll Obituary
Driscoll, Mandy Joyce
Mandy Joyce Driscoll passed peacefully April 7, 2016, in Phoenix, with friends and family members holding her hands. A Phoenix native, she was born Sept. 16, 1965, to John and Lois Driscoll. At age 16, she won a Phoenix modeling competition and was invited to model for New York City fashion photographers. She attended West High School, where she was a star volleyball player, and graduated from Alhambra High School. Mandy had many difficulties over the years and was perhaps most proud of remaining clean and sober the last five years of her life. She made many friends in AA and NA, and chaired a weekly AA meeting. She is survived by her sons, Christopher (Morgan Hall) Melvin and Johnathan Melvin; granddaughter, Mavrick Melvin; father, John (Eileen Bailey) Driscoll; sister, Dulcie (Karl) Martin, brother, Tim Driscoll; aunt, Darby (Tom) Keaveny; nephews Austin (Brooke) Martin, Jordan Martin, and Calvin Martin; and cousins Kim Keaveny, Kelly (Deborah) Keaveny, Kari (Brad) Skatter, and Kristen (Tim) Servin. Mandy was a sweet, beautiful, loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her memorial will be held at 6 p.m., Sunday, April 17, at the Chapel at St. Joseph's Hospital, 350 W. Thomas, Phoenix; parking in nearby garage. Questions: 602-882-1408.
