Aguirre, Manuel "Manny" Louie
age 80 passed away peacefully with family at his side on Thur Jan 19, 2012. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and mentor to many. Manny was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years Tina, his son Thomas and daughter Tracy Leonard. Survivors include daughters Terry Shimerdla, Toni Specht, 9 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren and sisters Mert Perez and Bert Galioto. Manny was a proud decorated Marine serving his country in the Korean War. He was a member of Cement Masons Local 394 and was highly regarded and respected in his trade helping to build the city of Phoenix. He touched the lives of many leaving behind great memories. He had a deep passion for his family, motorcycles, fishing, camping, and traveling in his RV. Visitation is 5-8 PM Tue with a eulogy service at 6 PM at Advantage Golden Door Chapel, 11211 W. Michigan Ave., Youngtown, AZ 85363. Scripture services are 11:00 AM Wed at the mortuary followed by a funeral procession to National Memorial Cemtery, 23029 North Cave Creek Road for a committal service at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
