They had four children. Ann was an accomplished musician, taught elementary music for 20 years in Webster (NY) schools, and was an adjunct professor at the University of Rochester, mentoring student teachers from various universities. Ann and Babe retired to Sun City, Arizona in 1984 and joined a number of musical groups. Services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at 1:30 pm at the American Lutheran Church of Sun City, 17200 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City AZ, 85373. Contributions can be made to the American Lutheran Church Music Fund (address above) , the Sun City Concert Band (c/o Gilbert, 16215 N 106th Ave., Sun City, AZ 85351), or the Sun City Chamber Orchestra (c/o Williamson, 13638 N Newcastle Dr. #134, Sun City, AZ 85351).
