Margaret S. Anderson, Phoenix area resident for nearly 30 years, died on Good Friday, March 21, 2008. She grew up in Sharon, Pennsylvania, spent two years in the Marines during WWII, raised a family in Chicago Heights, Illinois and retired in Arizona. She was 90 years old when she moved to Heaven. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sr, and is survived by her sister, Catherine Minnick, her brother, Frank Stephenson, her sons John (wife Rebecca) and Ray Jr. (wife Elaine), her daughter Margaret Anderson-Boyle (husband Randy) and her two granddaughters, Megan and Jennifer Anderson. She was a huge Diamondbacks and Suns fan. Worked the daily crossword puzzle until the day she passed. She was a weekly patron of Padre Murphy's in Phoenix. She was a spunky lady her whole life and made friends wherever she went. We are going to miss her dearly. She will be honored in a memorial service at noon, Thursday, March 27 at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City.
