Palmquist, Marianne Huber
81 of Scottsdale, AZ, died on January 24, 2016. Marianne was born and raised in Springfield N.J. where she graduated from Jonathan Dayton Regional H.S.. She was a graduate of Berkley Secretarial School in East Orange, N.J. Marianne loved to create and "craft". She was a talented seamstress and quilter. She "gave birth" to exquisite stuffed animals, specifically Teddy Bears. Marianne loved to play tennis, go on adventures with her tennis friends, play Yahtzee and all forms of cards, focusing on Bridge in her later years. She was preceded in death by her Husband of 49 years, Richard L. Palmquist, Sr. She is survived by a Son, Richard L. Palmquist, Jr. (Diane Wenzel); Daughter, Lori P. Smith (Scott); Grandchildren, Troy R., Shelby K. and Meghan; Sister(s), Margarete Grimm (Helmut), Elizabeth Chudoba (William) and Alice Selander (Howard); Nine (9) Nieces and one Nephew. A small gathering will take place on Thursday, February 11, 2016 @3pm in the Activity Room (second floor) of Pueblo Norte Assisted Living Facility, 7108 E. Mescal, Scottsdale, AZ. Because of the gentle, loving care of Gardiner Home (Hospice of the Valley), Marianne's last few days were peaceful and serene.
