Marilyn Schutzky Obituary
Schutzky, Marilyn (Horsley)
passed peacefully on February 27, 2016 at her home in Scottsdale, AZ. Marilyn enjoyed all the adventures and all of the people that she became friends with and every place that she lived. She was raised in Salt Lake City and she loved living in Utah, Oregon, Hawaii, Nevada, Washington, Alaska, Arizona and California. Marilyn said she wouldn't have changed a thing about any adventure that she had in life. Marilyn loved watercolor painting, her life as an artist, having creative artist friends and participating in many groups in her artist communities both locally and nationally.
She was born July 13, 1936 in Soda Springs, ID to James Earl Horsley and Alta Bollwinkle. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor S. Schutzky, her brother Delwyne Horsley and her sister Diane Nelson. She is survived by her sister Kathleen Ridges; children Carl Baldini, Allen Schutzky and Sandra Schutzky; grandchildren George Coon, Laura Ek, Lisa Gwilliam, Cara Baldini, Ryan Baldini and Caitlin Smith; nine great grandchildren and a loving extended family. Marilyn had a warm and brilliant heart, a marvelous smile, a fantastic sense of humor and she was easy to laugh. Marilyn was a wonderful lady and we will all miss her buoyant spirit. The family is planning a celebration of life at her home on March 12, 2016 at 2pm.
