76, of Buckeye, Az passed away on October 31, 2015. Marilyn was on November 4, 1938 in Oswego, Kansas. She attended an all girls Catholic High School in Tulsa, OK. Durring that time he met her soon to be husband Glen Smith. Upon gradution they were wed on September 1, 1956. In the summer of 1965, Marilyn, Glen and their five children move to Buckeye, Az. She soon started her career of 27 years with Arizona Publice Service in various positions in the West Valley ending up as the Buckeye Office Supervisor. After retirement, her remaining years were spent celebrating holidays, birthdays, and other family events with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchldren. All of whom were the "Apple" of Grandma's eye. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Glen; their children Mary (Jerry) Nunez, Patti (Daniel) Froetscher, Pike (Lisa) Smith, Theresa (Barry) Schwiesow; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-granchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Margery Smith. Visitation will be on November 4th at 5:30 to 7:00 pm at St. Henry's Catholic Church, 24750 W Lower Buckeye Rd, Buckeye Az. 85326. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am, on November 5 at St. Henry's Catholic Church. Services being handle By Ganley's Funeral Home in Buckeye, Az. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to St. Henry's Catholic Building Fund.
