Goad, Martin Milton
M. Milton Goad, 89, of Phoenix, AZ died Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at The Sherman Home. He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Kane Goad, his children, Randall T. Goad of Edmonds WA, Cheryl Laney of Renton WA, Carol Bolton of Park City UT and his sisters, Lucy Nannie of Carlisle AR, Pamela Williamson of Texarkana TX and Linda Chappell of England AR. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gloria Coe Goad and his sister, Vivian Rogers. Milt was born in Hickory Ridge, AR on August 28, 1926 and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1944-1946. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and retired from Boeing in 1988 after 31 years there. Milt was a 33rd Degree Mason and very involved in Masonic Organizations throughout his life. To all who knew him, he was a moral compass, a faithful Christian, a devoted husband and father, and a kind gentle soul. Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at La Siena, 909 E. Northern, Phoenix 85020. Graveside service will be at 9:00 am Monday, September 14, 2015 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek, Phoenix 85024.
