Senter, Mary Lillian
passed away on August 8, 2015. 93 of Chandler Arizona passed away on August 8, 2015. Born in Northfield, Vermont on January 20, 1922, the second eldest of five siblings. She was preceded by her loving husband, Edward, of 52 years and her four siblings. Mary is survived by her only son, James Cain, and his family. Before moving to Arizona in the 70s, Mary lived in Massachusetts and California. She spent many hours in night school at Boston University to further her education. Mary's working years were quite diverse. She worked as a secretary, real estate agent, teacher and owner of a pet store in Santa Maria, California. After retiring from the working world she donated 25 years of her time as a secretary to a nonprofit organization called Aquarian Educational Group (AEG), first in Agoura, California and then in Sedona, Arizona where the group relocated its headquarters. Mary had a passion for writing. She wrote articles for a local newspaper in Agoura titled Perspective on Life. She was so moved by the teachings of the AEG and its spiritual leader, Torkom Saraydarian, that she wrote articles, gave lectures and later published two books Go in Beauty and My Teacher.
