88, of Chandler passed away September 26, 2015. Mary Lou was born in Canton, Ohio, was the 2nd oldest of 7 children. In Ohio she worked at a gas station for Standard Oil while the men were away at war. She moved to Phoenix permanently in 1943. She met Richard Sutton at a St. Mary's Church Social Club and married Richard in a double wedding with her sister Marie in 1948. Richard & Mary Lou were married for 63 years. A woman of many talents, Mary Lou worked in bookkeeping, a jewelry store, a restaurant, market research, census taker and the Maricopa County Elections Department for 16 years, retiring in 1986. Mary Lou enjoyed spending time at their summer cabin in Strawberry. She loved her family and enjoyed the time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren. Mary Lou is survived by her son Tom Sutton (Nina), grandchildren Brian More (Alison), Mark Sutton, Jessica Sutton, great grandsons Brandon & Matthew More. She was preceded in death by husband Richard and daughter Anne Sutton More. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 with Rosary Recited at 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Mortuary Chapel, 1562 East Baseline Road, Mesa, Arizona. Mass of the Christian burial will be Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3450 W. Ray Road, Chandler, Arizona interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Society of St. Vincent De Paul Scholarship Fund or Catholic Education Arizona General Scholarship Fund.
