Priebe, Michael Edward
Michael Edward Priebe, 66, joined his parents Leo and Lorraine and daughter-in-law Judy in heaven Saturday February 19th 2011. Born in California April 3rd 1944 he was raised in Yucaipa, Ca. In high school, he was a track star, holding the state record for the 100 yrd dash. He served the US Navy on the U.S.S. Intrepid from 1961 to 1965. After his service he developed a passion for golf that he pursued throughout his life. He moved to Arizona shortly after discharge and started a long career in telephony and technology. He was a graduate of Phoenix College. During his career he held management positions as well as ownership ventures and as a highly regarded consultant. After spending considerable time in the bay area and the pacific northwest, he returned to Arizona to be near his children and grandchildren. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife Katherine, Brother Jerry, Son Christopher, Son and daughter-in-law Mark and McKenna, Son and daughter-in-law Mathew and Helle, Grandchildren Joyce, Leo, Stella and Georgia, and the mother of his children Marilyn. Services will be held Saturday, February 26 at the Faith Assembly of God 1441 W. Glendale Rd. Phoenix, Az 85021 at 1pm. Please visit www.hansenmortuary.com to submit online condolences.
