66, of Phoenix Az. passed away on August 1, 2016 after a 6 year battle with head and neck cancer. Nancy was predeceased by her mother and father Jean and Kenneth Witte. She is survived by her loving husband Daniel Fontana, sons Brent and Devin, brother Jim Witte and his wife Terry, sister Joan Witte Mahoe, niece and nephew Kalia Mahoe Lowrey , Kawai Mahoe, Sharyl Witte LaPorte, Chris Witte great nieces and nephew Aubree Lowrey, Saylor and James LaPorte and many adoring friends. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, aunt and exceptional friend to all she worked and socialized with. Born in Berkley CA., she was raised and worked in the small town of Danville CA. until the age of 30 when she met Dan over the phone at work. She was an accomplished purchasing professional and worked in the government sector until moving to Phoenix to pursue a life with Dan. Once in Phoenix she worked and thrived at Shure electronics until the school environment came calling through volunteering at Brent and Devin's elementary Preschool. There she befriended many individuals that to this day remained the core of her life. No one escaped the truth brought about by Nancy due to her ability to bring out the realities of any situation. She helped everyone around her while functioning at a very high level as a mom and a wife. She will be sadly missed by many individuals not only family but her extended family of friends. A party to celebrate her life will be held on October 22, 2016 at 7416 W Villa Rita Glendale Az.
