88, of Youngtown, Arizona passed away on December 9, 2015. Norm was born on May 13, 1927 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and was the fourth of five sons of Minna and Harold Pfeiffer. Norm married his High School sweetheart, Betty Jane Blaising April 30, 1948, after they both graduated from North Side High School. Norm served in the Army during WW II as a Medic. Norm and his family moved to Phoenix, AZ in April 1957 to take a job with Arizona Public Service where he worked until he retired in the mid 1980's. Norm and Betty were very active in the community of Baptist Village/Life Stream where they both lived until their death. Norm served multiple terms as president of the Volunteers in that community. Norm is survived by his three children, Sue Ann (Jim) Shuman, David Albert Pfeiffer and Michael Scott Pfeiffer, as well as three Grand-children, eight Great-grand-children, and three Great-great-grand-children, and his youngest brother Richard Pfeiffer. Norm was predeceased by his wife Betty Jane, Great-grand-son Darek Allen Pfeiffer, and Brothers Harold Walter, Edward William, and Kenneth Russell Pfeiffer. No services are planned per his request. Norm was loved by all and will be sorely missed.
