Patrice May "Miss Pat" Kozloski Obituary
Kozloski, Patrice "Miss Pat" May
of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on August 20th, 2016 of heart failure. Born in Elyria, Ohio, Pat was a retired RN who also had occupations as a waitress, a fabric clerk, a bank teller, a payroll clerk, and had been a long time employee for American Greetings as a key punch operator. She loved to read, machine embroider, and rubber stamp, but most of all, she loved to quilt. She was a member of the Phoenix Area Quilter's Association as well as Reap What You Sew, a quilt ministry of First Christian Church, Phoenix. Pat loved to travel - and rejoiced for having taken 75 trips around the sun! Additionally, she was a World Venturer, carrying her "You Should Be Here" little blue sign on many cruises and adventures. Her last cruise to the Panama Canal was her favorite. Pat was preceded in death by her parents C Marie (Kohler) Lewis and Ernst Karl Lewis, her sister Sharon Jean and brother Neil Allen. She is survived by her sister Kathleen Marie Hiner (Henry); her daughter Sondra "Sony" Kay (Lichlyter) Wilkinson (Rick) and their children, Michael, Noah, and Luke; her daughter Halle Jean (Kozloski) Reasoner (Bill) and their children, Jordan and Jeffrey Garbash and Michael and Megan Reasoner; her "adopted daughter" and caregiver Joy Olcott and her daughters Johanna and Klara; her devoted dog Baby Bear and her sweet and snuggly Sugar Glider Xavior. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 29th, 2016 at 11am in the Sanctuary of First Christian Church, 6750 N. 7th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85013. Arrangements have been made by the Neptune Society. Special thanks to Hospice Promise and her care team: Deborah, Laura, Nancy, Haja, Crystal and Pastor Jose. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation of Quilter's Cotton fabric, quilt notions, or a JoAnn's gift card which will be presented on her behalf to Reap What You Sew, the quilt ministry so dear to her heart.
