Schultz, Patricia Ann (Bennett)
80, was born in Aurora, Illinois on September 10, 1936 to William and Catherine Bennett. She peacefully passed away in her home after a brief bout with an aggressive form of lung cancer on Sunday November 20, 2016. She is preceded in death by her father William, mother Catherine, sister Shirley Daw and niece Dana Daw. Patricia is survived by her husband Marshall Schultz, her son Daniel Schultz and wife Betty, her daughter Marsha Griffith and husband Michael. Also survived by grandchildren, Barbara Wojtyna, Katherine, Lindsay and Reagan Griffith, as well as great grandchildren Dylan, Brooke and Tatum Wojtyna. After marrying Marshall as a young woman, the two settled in Arizona to raise their family. Once retired, Pat and Marshall spent the majority of their time living in the beautiful mountains of Pinetop, Arizona. An avid walker and golfer, Pat enjoyed the weather of the cool pines, and spent a majority of her time outdoors. The Pinetop cabin was a spot where family and friends often gathered, and provided Pat with some of her greatest joys in life. Pat was a friend to all she knew, and possessed a gentle spirit and a kind heart. She will be truly missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 2121 S. Rural Rd., Tempe, AZ on Monday, November 28th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ immediately following the service.
