The world has lost a truly genuine person. Patty always had a smile, and was truly interested in knowing those around her. She spoke about herself only after listening to others.

Patty was such a superb example of learning and doing. All of her graduate education came after having a family. She was highly regarded in her field of medical administration.

Patty, you'll be missed. I'm glad to know that you found peace and serenity in the Grand Canyon state with your beloved dogs. And with your children not too far away.

I cherish the several meetings we've had in later life surrounding our Duke reunions. Here's to Pegram!

God bless,
