Contreras, Paul Apodaca
76, of Gold Canyon passed away on April 23, 2013. Grew up in Miami; copper miner, officer in Mine, Mill & Smelter Workers, Steelworkers, and United Auto Workers unions. Retired from Ford Motor Company. Dedicated to promoting trade unionism. He was a licensed ham radio operator devoted to aiding emergency communications. Paul is survived by daughter Genevieve Franco Champ, granddaughter Genevieve Patricia Robles, grandsons Ramon Paul Robles, Armando Franco (Adriana), great grandsons Aiden and Andrew, sisters Angie, Gloria, brothers Joe, Roberto, Leroy, Richard and Tony, aunt Anita and uncle Lupe, plus numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Services: Saturday April 27, 9 am visitation, 9:30 am rosary, 10 am memorial mass at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 914 Sullivan Street, Miami.
