Russell, Dr. Raymond Louis
Dr. Raymond Louis Russell, 80, of Mesa, AZ passed away August 9, 2012. Ray was born March 14, 1932 in Mesa, AZ to Ernest E. and Ethel H. Stewart Russell. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Stewart Russell, David Russell, and Ralph Russell, as well as two sons: Stanford Russell and Evan (Brenda) Russell. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Evangeline Davis; his children: Sheree (Steve) Fetter, Renee (Chuck) DeHut, Joani (Marc) Frazier, Melanie Vieane, and Marcy (Darwin) Slade; one brother: Dan Russell of Logan, UT; 28 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Ray was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in various leadership positions. He was also a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, active in the Boy Scouts and in various local and state civic organizations. A viewing for Ray will be held Friday, August 17, 2012 from 6-8:00 PM at the LDS Mesa North Stake Center Building, 933 East Brown Road, Mesa. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 18,
2012 at 10:00 AM with a viewing one hour prior also at the Mesa North Stake Center Building. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Meldrum Mortuary.
