Sinagoga, Richard Douglas
passed away October 23, 2016 at the young age of sixty-six. Richard was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Phoenix, Arizona with his father, mother and brother in June of 1959 at the age of nine. He was a well-respected, award winning custom home builder in North Scottsdale and owner of RS Homes. Rich was well known throughout the Rugby scene and played as scrum-half on several valley and international teams. Richard was an avid car collector and bike enthusiast and loved to ride his motorcycle with Debbie and their dear friends. Richard embraced life with great enthusiasm and was a man of strong character with a desire to succeed. He is survived by wife Debbie Sinagoga, son Nicholas, daughter Alicia and husband Nick DiMarco, daughter Jamie Stern and her children Ava and Maksim, brother Larry and his wife Nancy Sinagoga, niece Angela Stacy, her husband John and their son Jack, and sister-in-law Kathy Sinagoga. He went too soon with much to still be accomplished and will be missed by all those whom he knew. Visitation will be Thursday night October 27th from 4pm to 8pm at Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary; 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Road, Scottsdale. The funeral service will be at 11am Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Community Church at 10815 N. 84th Street, Scottsdale. Lunch will be served following the service at St. Patrick's. Interment ceremonies will be for immediate family only.
