Robert "Bob" Ferrara Obituary
Ferrara, Robert (Bob)
John Lynnwood, Washington, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2016, with his beloved wife, Nancy by his side. Bob was born on April 3, 1936 in Los Angeles, California. He later resided in Phoenix, Arizona and Lynnwood, Washington. He had a long and successful career in sales and sales management. After his retirement, he worked several years as a General Manager for large RV parks in the Phoenix area. Bob was outgoing, caring, full of joy and was a very loyal friend. He enjoyed meeting new people, making new friends and visiting with old ones. He could be found most every day at one of his favorite Starbucks, drinking his "double cup grande, non-fat, light foam, 160 degrees, 2 pump vanilla latte", visiting with whoever happened to be there that day. As a small boy, Bob acquired a love of music, including jazz, blues and, most especially, the music of Frank Sinatra. One of his most treasured memories was the gift of tickets to see Frank in concert, in Phoenix, Arizona. Bob is survived and greatly missed by his loving wife, Nancy Ferrara; his two children, Blake Ferrara and Laura Orr (Kenny); the mother of his children Donna Ferrara; two granddaughters; sisters-in-law Pat Noel and Judi Wilhelm; brothers in-law Lyn Custer (Bev) and Mike Noel (Julia); two nephews Steven Wilhelm (Berry) and William Noel; and special friends, Fred and Jenny Kreiver. Bob is also loved and missed by the many people who called him "friend". He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Katherine Ferrara, two loving stepmothers, Mildred and Nellie Ferrara, father and mother-in law Wilford and Margie Noel, brother Michael Ferrara, and granddaughter, Laraisa Ferrara. A memory service (or celebration of life) will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
