Kennedy, Robert H. (Bob)
passed away peacefully 7/29/10. Born 6/29/1921 in Boise Idaho, he was the youngest of 5 siblings (Mabel, Fred, Dorothy and Cecil). He went to Wash State Univ where he played as an All American quarterback and Fullback and was later inducted into the Hall of Fame. Eloping with Shirley Larson he played semi-pro football for the US Army Air force as quarterback during his WWII military years. Bob played in more All Star & East West games than any player in football history. He went on to play pro for the New York Yankee football team as running back, defensive right half back and linebacker. He became a successful real estate broker and developer. He loved playing cards and laughing with friends and cooking them gourmet meals. For years his New Years Day open house was the place to be in Palm Springs. He is preceded in death by his siblings, his second wife Nancy and his daughter-in-law Debbie. His children Scott and Cici have great memories of drinking, dancing, card playing, cooking and eating with him, as well as going to zoos. He had a very full life and will be fondly remembered.
