Davis, Robert Henry
Robert (Bob) Davis, 86, of Scottsdale passed away at his home November 26, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Betty, son Jeff (Valerie), daughters Donna Davis and Lisa Davis Lebda (Frank), granddaughters Holly and Kristin Lebda and grandson Alex Davis. Born November 18, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN, Bob joined the Navy at age 18 and served two years. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering at the University of Minnesota in 1950. After graduation, he began his 40 yr career with Motorola, Inc. He received his MBA from the University of Chicago Executive program in 1964. In 1968, Bob transferred to the GEG division of Motorola in Scottsdale. Bob and his wife, Betty, were active members of Scottsdale United Methodist Church. Bob was an outdoors person and enjoyed fishing, boating and camping with his family and friends. His favorite spot being Greer, AZ. He will be remembered as a family man, always providing encouragement, support and unconditional love. The family wishes to thank Hospice of the Valley for the wonderful support and encouragement during the last few months of Bob's life. Memorials gifts may be made to that caring group. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, December 2, 2012, 3:00 pm at Scottsdale United Methodist Church, 4140 N. Miller Rd., Scottsdale, AZ, 85251. Reception following services.

I still hold tight to my memories of this good, kind, fun-loving father. It's Thanksgiving in particular that brings back many of those memories. My love to all the Davis family.
