Lange, Roger Dennis
Roger Dennis Lange passed away on July 9, 2016. Born in 1948 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to his parents Clare and Jim Lange. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 32 years, Debbie, and children Kerry (Alan), Cliff (Naomi), Lacy and 3 Grandchildren, by his mother, Clare and brothers Joe, Tom, and Bruce. His family moved to Phoenix in 1957. Roger graduated from Maryvale HS, attended Northern Arizona University and Glendale Community College, and graduated from Arizona State University in 1970 with a degree in Animal Science. Over his 45 year working career, he worked for many agricultural based companies across the nation. Most of those years were spent in sales. His last 10 years were spent in Learning and Development, training new and tenured colleagues. Roger retired in September 2014 and moved back to Arizona with his wife, Debbie. Diagnosed with lung cancer in the spring of 2015, he valiantly fought the disease until his passing, always maintaining a positive attitude and putting his trust in the Lord. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him. Roger and his family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, medical staff, and everyone that attended to his and Debbie's needs throughout his cancer journey. The family would particularly like to say thank you to Sage, the palliative care nurse, and his Pulmonologist, Dr. Ronn, who was very instrumental in his journey. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Spirt of Grace Lutheran Church in Surprise in at 9am on Wednesday, July 13. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to (www.hov.org) or Spirit of Grace Celebration of Life Fund.
