King, Ronald "Ron" Duane
87, of Mesa, AZ passed away on January 15, 2016. Ron died at the beautiful Lund Hospice in Gilbert, AZ. He was born on March 27, 1928, in South Lyon, MI to Marshall Elton and Cora Myrtle (Bell) King. He loved the Lord and studying his Bible. Ron could cook, sew, build a house, and fix just about anything. For many years he enjoyed golfing, touring the desert, vacationing around the country, playing music, and being with his dogs, Duke and Mutt. He was proud to serve his country during his time in the Army when he was stationed in Japan. At one time he had a band in Michigan called, "Ron King and the Country Gentlemen." He is survived by seven children: Duane (Sherry), their children, Monica and Alex; Dale Hammett, son Derek (Leah); Allen (Lou Ann), daughters Leara Garner (Neal) and Jennifer; Renee Parker, son David; Sheila King; Shelly Eaton (Adam), daughter Brittany Kavanaugh (Logan K.) and son Logan; and Dena Baldwin (Murray), and their children Macy, Dayton, Cole and Brooke. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren and brother in-law, Charles Edward Kueber. Ron is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette "Jan" M. King; his parents; sister, Marguerite; and Brother, Marshall. A graveside ceremony will be held at City of Mesa Cemetery on Friday, January 22 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Les Feldick Ministries, 30706 W Lona Valley Rd, Kinta, OK 74552...Ron and Jan's favorite daily television program and ministry.
