It is sad to think that Ron is no longer here. He was my boss at Hercules. He was a pleasure to work with. I was the second woman who worked in that area at that time. Until then, women were not hired for laboratory work. He was kind, honorable, reasonable and tolerant. Everyone liked him. In a new time of women working (1975) in "mens" areas, I have to say, he was fair and never a chauvinist... something that was rare in those days. As always, I wish him well and hope he is flying with the angles and in good spirits.

I was saddened to read about Ron's passing in the Tribune.

From 1968 to 1978, the Ron DuBois' and the Saito families were "next door" neighbors. The Gert Meyers family and the Betsy Pullman family completed a very close and happy neighborhood in the Chevy Chase subdivision, Holiday, Utah!

So many kids! So many adventures and events! Block progressive parties, building fence, cutting the telephone lines in several places...Arrival of children! Too many to count and name....
Susan, Laurie, Jeff. Our Heather, Dana, and Nathan all arrived while we were neighbors.....

Bike rides to the state capital building and back, going to Las Vegas to see the Ali Quarry Heavyweight fight, Just hanging out and talking about our youngsters......

I will never forget Ron as a good friend and neighbor.

Wonderful memories, so many years ago....

My sincere condolences to Ron's families

Rest in Peace Ron............

It was my privilege to have worked with both Ron and Dixie at Salt Lake County a number of years ago. Both were universally loved and respected and Ron was a great team member in the Meals on Wheels Program. On behalf of many others at the County who mourn his passing we extend our thoughts and prayers to Dixie and family at this time.

Sincerely, Marvin Conrad

I was saddened to hear about Ron. He was a kind and generous person and I am thankful to have know him and to have had him as part of my family for many years. Ron made some changes in the latter part of his life that I know brought him much happiness and joy...and you were have been a part of that Dixie. Remember all the good times and stay strong in the faith that you will be with him forever. I know that Susan, Laurie, and Jeff will miss him terribly and my heart goes out to you at this time. Remember him with love and I know you will feel his spirit with you throughout your lives.
