Roslyn Thaler Obituary

Thaler, Roslyn Melnikoff
Roslyn Thaler, nee Melnikoff, Sunday September 28. Loving daughter of Isadore and Rachel Klein Melnikoff, Roslyn was born in Brooklyn New York on October 29, 1921. She graduated from Upsula College in East Orange New Jersey. She was married to Alan M. Thaler (deceased) for 62 years. Roslyn was a teacher before starting a family. She later had a career as a real estate agent in New Jersey. She and Alan moved to Phoenix in 1968, and lived for many years in Paradise Valley. They were later joined in Scottsdale by her brother Meyer Melnikoff and his wife Elaine. She is survived by three sons, Richard, Donald and Maurice, six grandchildren (Gregory Thaler, Maggie Friedfeld, Jessie Thaler, Carolyn Hahn, Adam Thaler and Sarah Patterson Thaler), and six great grandchildren. She was about to be blessed with her seventh great grandchild on Tuesday. Roslyn was a gifted, self-taught piano player and a great story teller. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 4th at 3:00 PM at
Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd., Scottsdale. Contributions to Hospice of the Valley ( ) in lieu of flowers.
