Just over a month ago I lost my sister, Sheri. Sheri was the middle child in our family between my brother and me. Sheri always was a very loving and caring person and left behind a great legacy! We did not always see eye-to-eye from childhood to adults, but we were always sisters still first and foremost! I have so many memories of her and feel so lost without her. My family has gone from 5 to 2, being my mother and I left!!!! It wasn’t supposed to be this way ~ she should still be here today. I know now, she is out of pain from her shoulder and I am thankful for that. Unfortunately, now I have more pain in my heart but try to keep the memories in the forefront and remember how lucky I have been to have my wonderful family. I have a lot of memories of us three kids in Michigan and playing in our basement! Or even the weekend drives through the country just for fun, even sitting in the back of the station wagon facing backwards where Mom and Dad could not reach us (as long as they did not stop!) My family will never be lost because of their memories that we remaining members, our children and new additions will have to carry on forever!
Love you Sheri and keep the card game going....and I will do my best to keep our family alive through the memories. I plan on staying here for quite a while longer and selfishly hope to have Mom with me here too!!!!
