Griffin, Stuart Paul
Stuart Paul Griffin was born in Mount Kisko, NY on June 25, 1939. He was the eldest of six brothers and sisters. He was married to Helen for 44 years. They had four children (3 girls & 1 boy), seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. His faithful 3 legged companion, Duke, will miss him deeply. He was a member of the American Legion for 31 years and also a member of 40 & 8. He held many offices in the American Legion. He went up thru the ranks to the highest office of National Executive Committeeman for the State of Arizona. He was a private in the Army. He was a very caring person and dedicated his life to helping Veterans. His favorite trip was going down the Colorado River on a White Water rafting trip with his dear friend, Fred (Helen's brother). We will all miss him very much but he will always be in our hearts. Interment at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona
