Gilpin, Terri Lee (Pulice)
died very peacefully at her home in Newport Beach on Friday, October 23rd after a long battle with cancer. She was born on January 20th, 1951 in Fairmont, West Virginia and moved with her family to Phoenix, Arizona where she grew up, graduating from Washington High School. She was a very caring person with a love of children and all people, pursuing a 40 plus year career as a registered nurse in the allergy field both in Phoenix and Orange County, CA. Her first marriage was to David Justice and they had one son, Brad who is now 34. She remarried in 1992 to Keith Gilpin. In 2004 Terri and her husband relocated to Orange County, CA where she enjoyed what she termed "the greenery and the ocean", as well as her circle of O.C. friends until her passing. She was an avid reader and always put family first, deeply loving her cherished family and many friends. Her pooches Shorty, Harper, Buddy and Eddy were her constant companions. In addition to her husband and son, Terri is survived by her mother Teresa Cirillo Pulice; two sisters Frankie Pulice McCulley (husband Lowell), and Toni Pulice Grigg (husband Jim and nephew Scott); her nephew Nick Pulice (from her brother, Nick); a stepdaughter, Stacey Justice Miller; sister-in-law Michele Bonham (Ray) and their two sons R.P. (Sue) and Ryan (Cheyenne) Bonham and their combined 5 boys; and many other family members. She is preceded in death by her father Tony Pulice; brother Nick Pulice; nephew Brandon Grigg and her grandparents. Terri will be deeply missed by all family and friends who enjoyed her genuine appreciation of life, her love and her great sense of humor. A Celebration-of-Life service will be held in Phoenix on Saturday, November 21st at a location to be announced soon. A second will be held in Newport Beach with details to follow. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation, Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, in Memory of Terri Gilpin.
