Terry A. Ocapan, 68, of Chandler, passed away on February 9, 2007. She was born October 16, 1938 in Cebu, Philippines. A strong and caring woman, we'll miss your laughter and compassion that will transcend forever in our hearts. Terry graduated from college in 1963 with a degree in education at Colegio de San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu, Philippines. Ms. Ocapan retired from St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson, AZ after 30 years of dedicated service. Terry is preceded in death by her father Brigido B. Alfar and her mother Adela B. Alfar and her aunts Gertrudes Raboy and Mercedes Gutang. She is survived by her son Everett Bruce Ocapan; her sisters Dolly Samson, Carmen Alfar, and Dr. Adelaida Antonio (Francisco); her brothers Anthony Alfar (Ellen), Edito Alfar (Gertrudes), and Rolando Alfar (Ma. Divina); cousins Isabelle Davis (companion Elmer Smith), Meming Olloren (Ted), Amado Gutang (Esper), and other cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held Thurs. Feb 15 at 2 p.m. at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson Mesa, AZ.
