Timothy Paul Glynn Obituary
Glynn, Timothy Paul
Timothy Paul Glynn, 74, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on October 3rd, 2016. Born a triplet in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin on December 5th, 1941, he is preceded in death by his parents Marcella and Paul, sister Mary, and brothers Richard and James. He is survived by his wife Betty, his triplet brothers Tom and Terry, son Shane, daughter Corrine Cakebread, grandchildren Dia, Josh, Jesse, Jenna, Julia, and Josie, and great-grandbaby Addy. Tim was a loving father, grandpa, and husband, and a dedicated citizen and patriot. As president of the veterans' club at MATC he founded "Love America Week" 1969-1970, served in the USAF from 1961 until 1965, and was stationed in D.C. He was a true humanitarian and left a legacy of caring for others regardless of their circumstances, creed, or political beliefs; he was known to bring random hungry folk home for Thanksgiving dinner. He loved being a grandfather and father and was very involved in his family and his church, serving as president of the Holy Name Society and helping to host the Friday night Fish Frys at St. Helen's. He maintained a sense of humor to the last moment and will live forever in our hearts. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on October 11th at 11 a.m. at St. Helen's Catholic Church, 5510 W. Cholla St., Glendale, AZ 85304, followed by a luncheon in the church hall.
