I am not sure if I ever had the pleasure of meeting Travis's family but I was very fond of him. He was my dad's, Bruce Clayton, boss. I know that my Mom and Dad considered Travis one of their close friends and had great respect for him. I believe that he spoke at my Dad's memorial service last year, which meant a lot to my family. I know he will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and the many City of Phoenix employees that he enteracted with.

Mrs. Williams and Family – I have had the utmost privilege of getting to know Mr. Williams over the past year. As much as I was amazed by his vast knowledge of social services, I was even more impressed by his overall kindness and compassion. During visits to “his center “, he always made a point to thank each and every employee for their hard work and dedication. Please be assured that the staff at the Travis L. Williams Family Services Center take great pride in the work we do. It is a pleasure to serve in an effort to continue the vision Mr. Williams had for the community. May God Bless your family during this difficult time.

Travis, a man who walked in God's Holy Spirit, Jesus' way. One of Teri Cruz' most cherished friends. He led the war against poverty and changed many lives. This true gentleman will never be forgotten and will be greatly missed. Thank you Travis for sowing into my life. With much love and admiration, Maria

My condolences to the Williams family. Travis was a great guy. I especially enjoyed visiting with him at City Mgr. meetings and retreats. He was never too exciteable, nor was he negative. He was always interested in your opinion. He was well balanced and never got up too "high" nor went too "low".
I haven't seen him for a lot of years but did know that his heart was in homebuilding. We've lost a fine gentleman.
