25, gained his angel wings on Jan. 3. He was born Aug. 20, 1987, in Phoenix, Ariz., the son of Patrick and Dale Chambers. He attended Horizon Community Learning Center, where he played basketball, and the University of Arizona, majoring in wildlife and watershed management. As a volunteer with the Tucson Wildlife Center, Tyler helped rescue injured and orphaned animals including baby javelina, red tail hawks, screech owls and baby bobcats. He later joined the Arizona Humane Society as an employee, where he especially enjoyed caring for pit bulls. Tyler brought joy to his family and friends in the form of an infectious smile, comedic "routines," and all-around generosity. He was especially happy entertaining his family and friends. He was a man with a strong moral compass who often put others' needs above his own. He is survived by his father, Patrick, mother, Dale, and sister, Heather; uncles Dan (Tina) Chambers and Mike (Audrey) Chambers; aunts Anne and Lee; and cousins. A memorial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Parish of St. Benedict, 16223 S. 48th St, in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate notes of remembrance, and, if you desire, donations in his name to the Arizona Humane Society or Tucson Wildlife Center.
