Pfeifer, Virginia Mae
79, entered Heaven on April 23, 2012. She was born June 20, 1933 in Bradford, Ill to Orville & Bertha Mae Campbell. She was the eldest of 4 children. She moved with her family to the Phoenix area in 1947. GiGi, as she was known by her family, was blessed with 2 children. She worked at Honeywell and then Mountain Bell/ Qwest, from which she retired in 1995. GiGi was a devoted Christian, having put her faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as a young woman. She enjoyed singing in 2 Senior Adult Choirs, The Joy Singers at North Phoenix Baptist Church and the Arizona Southern Baptist "Impact" Choir. Most important, GiGi was a faithful and trusting believer in the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She is now enjoying her Eternal Home in Heaven. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband, A.J. "Lucky" Pfeifer; parents, Orville E. & Bertha Mae Campbell, and brother, O.E. "Hap" Campbell, Jr. Survivors include her son Charles (Marilyn) Ring, daughter, Cathy (Buzz) Rose; Grandchildren: Jason and Bill Rose, Shawn (David) Moyer, and Great Grandchildren: Kylie & Kenzie Rose, Dylan & Lauren Pensinger; siblings: Bette (Jack) Coleman and Richard Campbell; nieces and nephews and her Aunt Cleo Orris. GiGi was dearly loved by her family and is greatly missed. Visitation Tuesday, April 30th, from 5 - 7 PM at Best Funeral Service, 501 E. Dunlap, Phx. Visitation Wed., May 1st, 10 AM followed by the funeral at 11 AM at North Phoenix Baptist Church at Central Ave & Bethany Home Road. Interment follows at Green Acres Cemetery, Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, donations requested in Memory of Virginia Pfeifer designated for Arizona Ranch to Youth Haven Ranch, P.O. Box 97, Rives Junction, MI 49277.
