Peric, Vladimir
passed away on March 20, 2016, in Phoenix, Arizona at the Beatitudes Campus Vermilion Cliffs in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born in Derventa, Bosnia to Josip and Ana Peric on May 25, 1928. He grew up in Osijek, Croatia and in 1957 immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio. He moved to Phoenix in 1973. He worked as a tool and die maker at Cleveland Twist Drill and as a forklift, tool, and crib operator at Garrett Allied Signal in Phoenix. He enjoyed coaching several Men's Croatian Soccer Teams in Cleveland and was an active member of the Croatian-American Club in both Cleveland and Phoenix for many years. He was preceded in death in 2014 by his 2nd wife Mary Carol (Cindaric) Peric and by his two brothers Ivica and Mato Peric. He is survived by three children, Wlatka Peric-Knowlton, Adrian Jadranko Peric, and Annette Encinas and their mother Zlata (Mihaljevic) Peric; his sister Ruzica Peric in Osijek, Croatia; and his grandchildren Zane and Sophia Encinas. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 24th, 2016 at 9:30 am at Hansen Mortuary Chapel located at 8314 N. 7th St., Phoenix, AZ 85020.
