Walter was a wonderful friend during our years in Arizona. Herb and I have countless memories of fun times together. We still marvel at his wonderful humor and quick wit. We have missed him greatly since we moved away, and will always cherish our memory of him.

Condolences to the family of Walter Andrews.
Walter Andrews was by far the best teacher my brother Peter and I ever had. He not only made learning enjoyable, he made school a fun place to be.
He showed slides of his many travels - images that made history come alive. He shared music, stories and anecdotes in such a way that one wanted to learn more.
Walter Andrews was understanding, kind, generous with his time and he truly had the best sense of humor of anyone I have ever known.
His insights and sharp wit always made being in his presence a delight.
His life was a blessing to hundreds of students and his life was a blessing to me - he truly is a human being who made a difference.
I will miss him for the rest of my life.
