Fogelberg, Weymouth "Fogey"
94, of Casa Grande, AZ passed away on September 6, 2013. He received his B.A. from Indiana University in 1943. He fought in World War II from 1943-1946 as a medic in the Pacific Theatre and state side rehabilitating soldiers. He was an insurance executive, small business owner and manager for a real estate developer. In 2005, he and his wife Jacqui started the "P.A.W.S" with Dogs program at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center along with their Sheltie Makenzi. As an active citizen, he participated in the Democrat party of Casa Grande and was appointed to Governor Napolitano's Council on Health, Physical Fitness and Sports. He was the State Champion in Cycling for the Senior Olympics in 2004. His passion for life drove him to speak out for equality, fairness and the unheard voices. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clement and Newell; and daughter Jenni Fogelberg. He is survived by his wife, Jacqui Fogelberg; his first wife, Betty West Fogelberg; one son and two daughters, Harold Fogelberg, Ann Spencer, and Mary Ferguson; two step-children, Scott and Jennifer Chaplin; one brother, Dr. Earl Fogelberg; ten grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. A memorial will be held in late October in Casa Grande. Weymouth donated his body for medical research to Science Care. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to CGRMC Foundation, P.A.W.S. with Dogs/Makenzi Fund, Attn: Karen Kerr-Osman, 1800 E. Florence Blvd., Casa Grande, AZ 85122, or Honor Flight Arizona, P.O. Box 12258, Prescott, AZ 86304.
