Obituary Condolences

Tripp, Willard E.
Born February 14, 1924 in Tomahawk WI, passed peacefully November 23, 2015. A WWII veteran of the Navy and a long time valley resident, he originally moved his family to Arizona in the summer of 1960. He worked as a baker at El Rancho Markets before retiring from Smitty's in the 80's. As a young boy he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers Robert and Donald in Wisconsin. He developed a hobby of woodworking and built many toys and items for his family and kids. He often said to enjoy them now as this was his legacy. The times spent with his family were the best of times. We will all miss his guiding hands and gentle strength. He is survived by his 3 children, Linda Ramsey, Susan McPherson and Lloyd Tripp, 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Adam, Janet, Karen, Amanda and 5 great grandchildren, Clayton, MacKenna, Elise, John and Charlene. His unmistakable laugh, blue eyes, warm smile and tasty pies will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Private services for Willard will be held by the family and he will be laid to rest at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery where he will rejoin his wife of over 50 years, Hazel Tripp who predeceased him in 1998.
