William Bowser Obituary

Bowser, William Sheldon
Born October 18, 1914 in Hancock, Ohio and found Heaven December 11, 2009 at age 95. Mr. Bowser enjoyed many careers in his 95 years including playing in Big Bands in the 1930's, instrumental in developing the Norton Bomb site during World War II, operated Bowser Model Railroad Manufacturing in the 1950's (he was inducted into the Model Railroad Industry's Hall of Fame in 2003), received two Air Force and one Navy Meritorious Service Medals in the 1960's for his work on the Minuteman III Missile, started a computer software company in the 1970's - then retired to become a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and finally a tough Texas Hold 'em player (his nickname was River Bill).He is survived by his daughter, son and daughter-in-law, three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A private family service will be held.
