Waldron, William (Bill)
William (Bill) Waldron, 72, passed away on August 9, 2016 in Glendale, Arizona after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born on December 17, 1943 in Orange, New Jersey to the late George and Harriet Waldron. After High School, Bill proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. After his time in the Marine Corps he returned to Livingston, New Jersey and became a letter carrier until he retired. He was a member of the ELKS and enjoyed the camaraderie of meeting the guys after work. He moved to Arizona in 2005. Bill is survived by his brothers, James and (Elaine), Michael and (Debra); sister-in-law, Eileen; and brother-in-law, Martin Balassone. He is also survived by 4 nieces and 8 nephews who would make him light up whenever they were around. Bill was preceded in death by his sisters, Harriet Balassone and Katherine Mindo; and his brother, George. A visitation will be held from 8:30 until 9:30 am on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 West Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, Arizona with a funeral service immediately following at 9:30. Graveside services with military honors will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Companion Hospice, 1930 South Alma School Rd.
