Willis Dean "Andy" Anderson, 73 of Mesa, Az. Passed away on February 2nd, 2004. He was an Arizona resident for 37 years. He will be greatly missed by his family; Children: Clyde Anderson of Waco Tx., Jeanie Ames of Colorado Springs, Co., Wes Anderson of Mesa, Az., Les Anderson of Wilmington, De., and Cindy Anderson Reitmeyer of Gilbert, Eric Az. Brothers: Bud Anderson of Lubbock, Tx., and Jay Cox of Mesa, Az. Grandchildren: Lional Balcome, Cassandra Balcome, Jennifer Ames Rich-ardson, Stephanie Reitmeyer. Alexis Reitmeyer, Blythe Anderson and Jordan Anderson. Great-Grandchil- dren: Donnie Balcome, Sabrina Balcome, Tyler Ames, Phoebe & Seth Garrard, Kyle Ames and Titus Ames. His cousin Bonnie Iker of Snowflake, Az. And several other relatives. Andy was born November 19, 1930 in Clovis, N.M. At the age of 15 years, Andy enlisted in the U.S. Army during WWII. Serving in Korea as a highly decorated Master Sgt. and losing a leg while with the 2nd lnf. Div., 23rd lnf. Regt. Andy went on to raise a family and own a successful business in the valley. Andy was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working with his Korean War Division & Regiment Associations helping to locate other Korean War Veterans. Services will be held Friday, February 6th at Bunker Funeral Home, 3529 E. University Dr., Mesa. Viewing is at 10:00 a.m., service at 11:00.
