Huss, Patrick
60, of Mesa, AZ passed away on September 14, 2010. He is survived by his wife Claudia of 24 years, their daughter Samantha Gordon (husband Matt), son Joel and the blessing of his life, Madison Gordon, his granddaughter. He was born in Fremont, Ohio and moved to Arizona in 1979. His family in Ohio and Florida includes his brother Richard Huss (wife Linda), sister Patricia Huss and sister Sandra Rubel (husband Brad), plus numerous nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces. Patrick was a Vietnam Veteran, a Navy medic assigned to the 3rd Marine Division, and proud of his service to our country. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 11AM at Desert Cross Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Patrick's name to the Mesa Salvation Army, PO Box 4106, Mesa, AZ 85211.

I only knew Patrick through his work with me as a transplant coordinator. He really helped me with all the hoops I had to jump through to get my liver transplant approved. Talking with him over the phone was always a pleasure and his support and advice really made things so much more easier to deal with. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Claudia, Samantha and Joel,
You guys are so dear to my hearts and I have to tell you I did not like hearing that your husband and father had died. I know this was a shock to you and everyone for that fact. I am still in shock but we all know that he is in a better place with no more suffering. I did not know Patrick that well but I do know that he was supportive of Samantha and Joel. Claudia, we only heard about Patrick's passing last night at 10pm (Alex had just found out and called us at 1AM Boston time). We regret that we did not know in time to go to the services. We will always remember Patrick's spirited support of everything Horizon eagles. Our deepest condolences to you, Samantha, Joel and all the family. Booming voice, love of U of A, love of Phoenix Suns, love of AZ Cardinals and football season, devotion and love of his family, compassion and love of children...these are some things that immediately come to mind when I think of Patrick. The Cadien Family is going to miss him so much!!!! Football Season on Pampa Circle will just NEVER be the same :-). We have you all in our thoughts and hearts!
