Aguilar, John T.
John T. Aguilar, born in Mesa, AZ, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 87 years of age. He served in the Army during WWII, was a 40 year veteran, a NASCAR fan and an active part of the Teamsters and its conception in Arizona. He was the last of the Arizona Express Drivers before they became Consolidated Freightways. He is survived by his three children, John Anthony Aguilar, Elizabeth Ann Villegas and Margaret Mary Coberley; his grandchildren Jodie Elizabeth Villegas, Jesse Perry, Ernest Villegas, Lindsey Aguilar Sara Aguilar, Cody Coberley, and Kristopher Coberley; and his great grandchildren Jessika, Marquez, Bella, Max and Cameron. He will be joining his beloved wife Cleo Aguilar in Heaven. Services will be on Saturday Oct. 2nd at 1PM at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary 7924 N. 59th Ave. in Glendale. with visitation prior starting at 11:30AM. He was an active member of Deer Valley Senior Center (2001 W Wahalla Ln, Phoenix, AZ 85027, 602-495-3714) and the family asks that donations be sent to the senior center that he loved so much in lieu of flowers. He was our patriarch and he will be dearly missed.-
