In her professional life, Shannon was a doctor in the deepest sense. She was not only exceptionally skilled and competent but she cared about her patients and healed them. She was considerate and compassionate and touched the lives of countless mothers and babies. Shannon loved babies and worked with all her strength and skill to protect them, keep them healthy, and make them safe. She was a respected leader in her profession and will be terribly missed by her colleagues, patients, and the many babies that she delivered. In her personal life, Shannon will be remembered by her family and friends for her unconditional love and compassion for others. She had an amazingly wonderful heart that touched the lives of so many. She was taken from all of us far too early and will be greatly missed and always remembered. We love you mommy!
